Texas Whitetail Deer Hunt Packages

$1,500 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your Deer Hunt. We have a 98% success rate, so on the rare occasion you do not harvest a buck, you will still be charged a standard fee of $1,500 for your stay. The deposit covers food, lodging, beverages, and guide. In the case of irretrievable wounded animals, full price must be paid based on the estimated Gross B & C score.

A Texas Hunting License is required for all whitetail deer hunts; so, bring your Texas Hunting License along with your weapon of choice, ammunition, camo, and a few ice chests to take home your game. We have a nearby meat processor if you desire to have it processed close by or donated to Hunt for the Hungry.

You will be staying in our incredible Trophy Deer Hunting Lodge fully decorated with American and African game and décor, a beautiful pool table built from Colorado mining timbers, poker table, leather sofas, giant TV and one of the biggest fireplaces you will ever see. Our meals are BIG – Texas sized breakfasts, lunches and dinners, appetizers, snacks for the blind/hunt and a fully stocked bar for after your evening whitetail hunt. After dinner enjoy relaxing on our back porch with a view out over fields of roaming game or cozy up to our fire pit and join in the story telling!

The 5F Ranch is located 2 ½ hours southwest of FT. Worth/Dallas or 2 hours northwest of Austin in the very Heart of Texas amid rolling hills, stands of oaks and native pecan with the Blanket Creek running through it.

In your down time watch football, go bass fishing – which is complimentary to all our guests or schedule a Sporting Clay shoot off our Wobble trap and 9 stations which is right off the back porch (there is a $75/100 shot fee.)

The Whitetail Deer Hunt Packages are a 3-day fully guided hunt. All food, lodging, meals, and beverages are included with all Texas Whitetail Hunts (including Beer).

Example 3 Day Whitetail Deer Hunt Itinerary

Day 1:

Arrive around 1-2PM, guest registration, orientation, un-pack, sight-in at firing range, afternoon guided trophy deer hunt, evening cocktails & appetizers, dinner.
Day 2:

Wake up around 5AM, continental breakfast, morning guided whitetail hunt, late full breakfast. Afternoon is free to fish, nap, watch football, lunch, afternoon guided whitetail hunt, cocktails, dinner.
Day 3:

Wake up around 5AM, continental breakfast, morning guided deer hunt. Departure by 1PM. (Guests can add shooting at our Sporting Clay range for an additional fee once every hunter has taken their desired game.)

We have six comfortable three person insulated, carpeted blinds, several pop-up blinds and four double seat tree blinds for the whitetail bow hunting enthusiast. All our whitetail deer hunt stands overlook a feeder to increase your odds of success. We also have food plots or fields for better visibility. Most shots are 100 yards or less to ensure better success. Our shooting range, “Trigger Happy”, offers 25, 50, and 100-yard targets to sight in your rifle or pistol. After everyone has shot out, we offer additional shooting options. We have several fun targets to improve your shooting skills or enjoy a multiple stand Sporting Clay shoot with four clay throwers for different angled targets. All this is available for both advanced and novice Clay shooters. A fun day of clay shooting after the hunt is only $70 for one hundred clays, Shotguns and ammunition is not included.

To ensure that our Whitetail Deer Herd has the nutrition available for maximum antler growth they are supplemented annually with winter food plots and high protein feed. Whitetail Deer Hunting Stands and Shooting Range

5F Ranch has been MLDP three since 2002. The MLD Three program is a selective management program we participate in with Texas Parks and Wildlife. This allows us to offer you an extended whitetail deer hunting season. The 5F Hunting Ranch Whitetail Deer Season begins around the first week of October and goes through to about the last week of February for both Archery and Rifle deer hunting. You will need a Texas Hunting License, but we provide the tags for your whitetail hunt. That means you still can use your Texas deer tags for other hunts in the state and any harvested whitetail at the 5F Ranch does not count against your total Texas whitetail deer harvests.
